Seabed Acoustics Workshop
German subsea equipment specialist Innomar Technologie of Rostock, is to hold its seventh biennial workshop on Seabed Acoustics from 19-20 November at the local Hotel Neptun. The two-day English language event will begin with wide-ranging reviews of current issues concerning user experiences in high-resolution sub-bottom profiling, acoustics for offshore installations, underwater archaeology, signal and image processing and seafloor characterisation.
Also to be reviewed will be simultaneous operation of various systems such as sub-bottom profilers, multibeam units and sidescan sonars. The second day will include demonstrations of systems of differing manufacture aboard a river boat. Further details at www.innomar.com .
