Among the companies reporting a successful seawork2002 is Docking Solutions Ltd, which took an order at the show for over 100m of their popular harbour pontoon and had what they describe as “a huge number of top quality enquiries.”

Docking Solutions offers a complete design and build marine fabrication service.

DSL has had to take on a new Contracts Manager, Martin Langelaan, to deal with the influx of work. Speaking of his company’s success at seawork2002, he told Maritime Journal, “The best recommendation for our tubular steel pontoons is the fact that Harbour Masters come back time and again for their new and replacement programmes. The fabrication method lends itself to economic customisation so that each scheme can be designed exactly to the customer’s needs.

Docking Solutions Ltd will be exhibiting at seawork next year.”
