The tenth Annual International Tidal Energy Summit (ITES) will focus on how international project developers plan to reduce cost and still deploy reliable turbines in the future.

Some of the big names in attendance will include Atlantis, EMEC, OpenHydro, Tocardo, EDF, DP Energy, PTEC, SME, and the Korea, Japan & Nova Scotia Governments.

There will be a keynote speech from Richard Graham, Member of Parliament and Chair of the APPG on Marine Energy and Tidal Lagoons.

At the awards dinner, Henrik Stiesdal, who has been called the godfather of wind, will share his experiences as Siemens’ Wind Power’s CTO during the 90s and 00s.

In addition, nominations are now open for the ITES Awards, which need to be submitted by 9 September.
