The 26th edition of Europe’s largest commercial marine and workboat exhibition provides businesses the opportunity to showcase their services, equipment, vessels and supplies to an international audience. Speed@Seawork on 9th June in Cowes offers a sector specific event that showcases fast vessels operating at high speed for security interventions and Search & Rescue. Emission-free steel for Norwegian supply ships
Sweden’s SSAB is to supply its ‘SSAB Zero’ emission-free steel manufactured from recycled steel and produced with fossil-free electricity and biogas for two supply ships operating in the Norwegian aquaculture sector.
A total of 300 tonnes of steel, in two batches will be delivered by SSAB subsidiary Tibnor to Vestnes, Norway-based shipbuilding and engineering company Salthammer Båtbryggeri AS.
Salthammer has two Coastern 28eH supply ships under construction for AQS Rederi AS, a Norwegian maritime contractor supplying services to sectors including the aquaculture industry.
