Look out for Outreach at Seawork

Scotland based hydraulic handling and lifting equipment supplier Outreach Ltd will have a lot to show at Seawork 2013.

The Falkirk company has completed another successful year for sales and aftercare and has seen its team grow to in excess of 70 people. This has been due to its excellent service and aftercare department as well as the growing markets of both marine and renewable.

The company has fitted cranes to many of the latest aluminium hull catamaran windfarm service vessels being built by Turbine Transfers, Catapult Catamarans, and Alnmaritec). Outreach has fitted within the nacelle, sub-stations and transition lay-down areas of the windfarm sector throughout Europe over 600 of the Palfinger range of cranes.

The Palfinger Group has grown with the latest acquisitions of NED-DECK Marine and Dreggen, increasing the full product range of equipment to include marine, offshore ram/rope luffing cranes along with the full range of lifesaving davits, FRC’s and rescue boats. Visit to Stand C109 at Seawork will be able tp try out the latest 7m FRC that will be exhibited on Water Berth 53, manufactured from FAST RSQ.

Outreach is also able to offer winches within packages which provide a complete ‘one stop shop’ for all lifting requirements. The company also participates in the hook chang-out program in accordance with SOLAS Chapter III Amendments for non-compliance lifeboats/release mechanisms, with a fully certified system and qualified engineers available.
