EIVA Brazilian and Italian agreements
EIVA, the Danish offshore engineering survey specialist, has signed exclusive distributor agreements with Macsea in Brazil and Marine One in Italy covering supplies of its widely-adopted hardware and software for offshore construction and subsea surveying operations.
Products include the company’s recently upgraded NaviModel 4 suite for data modelling and visualisation. Based in Rio de Janeiro, Macsea specialises in provision of underwater technical services for the offshore and oceanographic industries, including project supervision of resources and asset management. It maintains similar partnership agreements with, among others, Saab, Teledyne Seabotix and Tritech International.
EIVA’s comparable arrangement with Marine One signifies a further stage in development of activities within Italy and surrounding countries such as Malta, it says. The two companies marked inauguration of the their agreement with a joint workshop at the Nautical College of Catania in Sicily in October.
