€700 million earmarked for green e-methanol plant

Spanish innovation company Reolum is spending €700 million on a plant to make e-methanol especially for the maritime and aviation industries.

The 26.8-hectare plant will be built in the Spanish municipality of Monfarracinos in Zamora province and will produce green e-methanol, a synthetic fuel that is produced from ’herbaceous biomass’.
