Finland plans major port overhaul to accommodate offshore wind

Finland is planning to establish a major offshore wind logistics base at Koverhar Harbour, with developers and port operators revealing details of the infrastructure required to support gigawatt-scale projects in the Baltic Sea.

A Letter of Intent signed between Euroports and OX2, alongside partners in the Noatun project, sets out plans to transform the existing port into a specialised hub for offshore wind construction.
