NY announces largest ever US spend on offshore wind
New York governor Kathy Hochul has announced a spending package of $15 billion for three offshore wind projects and another $5 billion for 22 land-based renewable energy schemes.
The investment is in line with New York State’s target of supplying 70% of its electricity from renewable sources by 2030 and is bound to have potential for European manufacturers and designers.
