2022 Østerild V236-15.0MW 06 HR

Vestas is planning a new blade factory in Poland to help the company realise its ambitions to be a leader in offshore wind

The factory in Szczecin will produce blades for Vestas’ flagship turbine, the V236-15.0 MW and is expected to begin operation in 2026, creating more than 1,000 jobs.

Along with a previously mooted assembly factory in Szczecin for offshore nacelles, this latest endeavour could see the company support 1,700 jobs by 2026.
