The UK’s Fast Response Craft (FRC) training company, FRC International, is to host this year’s Crew Systems Integration (CSI) conference, taking place from 2 to 4 June 2013 at RNLI Lifeboat College in Poole, UK.

CSI 2013 presentations will focus on the RIB and high speed craft sector

The international conference includes over 20 presentations focussing on nine integrated topics for the RIB and high speed craft sector.

CSI 2013 will focus on the latest craft and equipment, human factors engineering, crew, training, qualifications, simulation, repeated shock, whole body vibration and the increasing use of unmanned surface vessels.

“CSI 2013 is guaranteed be a lively and informative conference highlighting next generation design, technology and operating standards for the professional RIB & HSC sector,” said John Haynes, operations director, FRC International. “These ‘joined-up’ solutions can benefit all marine operators including SAR, coast guard, military, police, government agencies and offshore wind farm support worldwide.”

Keynote speakers include former Royal Navy Rear Admiral, Chris Parry, Captain Andrew Moll of the UK Marine Accident Investigation Branch (MAIB) and Commander Chris Pratt of Maritime and Aviation Operations, UK Border Force.
