Hydro 2015
The International Federation of Hydrographic Societies, which has its administrative headquarters in Plymouth, is to hold its 23rd Hydro conference in Cape Town’s International Convention Centre from 23-25 November.
Organised and hosted by The Hydrographic Society of South Africa and supported by an exhibition of equipment and services, proceedings will address the technical and social advancement of the hydrographic industry to suit global needs while supporting developments appropriate to Africa.
Scheduled topics include African case studies, Aiding Resource Access, Capacity Building, Data Management, Education & Training, Maritime Boundaries, New Technology & Equipment, and Positioning for Surface & Sub-Surface Applications. The three-day event is expected to attract 350-400 delegates from up to 40 countries. Further details at www.hydro2015.org .
