Another marine death highlights ‘shipping’s deadly problem’
Reports of another death that occurred during transfer to a seagoing vessel has prompted calls from a safety advisory firm to educate crews - and fast.
“The shipping industry has a deadly problem. Pilot transfer accidents are an increasing issue and the resulting fatalities and accidents are a blight on our industry’s safety record.”
