Based in Ventnor on the Isle of Wight, we are looking for a skilled Marine Engineer to join our talented team.

About the Role
 This is a hands-on engineering role supporting the full lifecycle of our catamaran systems – from installation to commissioning and ongoing support. You will be working on a wide range of builds, including vessels fitted with the latest electric propulsion technology. Every day brings something different, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives on variety and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and commission propulsion systems
  • Fit and maintain mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Collaborate with boatbuilders and design teams to ensure smooth systems integration
  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently
  • Support compliance with CE, MCA, and other relevant safety standards

What We are Looking For

  • Qualification in marine, mechanical, or electrical engineering (Level 3 or above) – desirable
  • Practical experience in marine system installation and maintenance (e.g fuel systems, black water systems, dashboard electronics)
  • Solid understanding of modern outboard propulsion systems
  • Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams
  • A proactive and flexible approach, with strong problem-solving skills
