Jake Frith: Brought up on the banks of an estuary in the north west of England, Jake’s entry into marine journalism was on the leisure yachting side, where he rose in ten years from an occasional contributor to various yachting magazines to his last role as editor of Sailing Today. Previous roles also include website editor at the RYA where he managed the official websites for the British Olympic sailing teams at the Beijing and Athens games. Jake remains a keen sailor, rower and paddleboarder, and has recently downsized to an 18 foot cruiser. In previous small boats Jake has sailed single handed round Britain and double handed across the Bay of Biscay to Spain and back. Jake has a masters degree in Online Journalism.

He has a deep interest, both personally and professionally in marine invention and innovation, and has chaired the judging panel of Seawork's European Commercial Marine Awards since 2015.
