Low Location Lighting System
Existalite/Thomas & Betts Ltd have been awarded the contract to supply and install over 18km of their Guide-LITE system on three ships being built by Kvaerner-Masa Yards in Helsinki.
The ships, two for Carnival Cruise Lines and one for Costa Cruise Lines, will be fitted with the low location lighting system throughout all escape routes in passenger and crew areas. Existalite’s range of colour co-ordinated extrusions has allowed designers to blend the system with colour schemes in each area. Installation will be carried out by Existalite’s experienced distributors Ab Alandia Engineering.
The Existalite Guide-LITE system fully satisfies the requirements of ISO Standard 15370, which was introduced last April.
