Engineers mark next stage in Genoa breakwater
The largest caissons in major works to upgrade the Port of Genoa are now being installed by a consortium led by the Italian engineering firm Webuild Group.
A semi-submersible barge, the Tronds Barge 33, will be used to install the caissons, which are 67 metres long, 35 metres wide and 33 metres high.
