London 25km ‘Super Sewer’ finally completed

London’s ‘Super Sewer’ has finally been completed, 12 years after initial investigations were carried out and eight years since the building began.

The aim of the £4.5 billion engineering project is to almost eliminate the millions of tons of storm sewage that enters the famous waterway every year.
