VIDEO - Dredgers create island wildlife haven
Wildlife havens for endangered bird species have been created from material dredged from a 65km fairway deepening and widening project.
The fairway, which was deepened in places to 12.5 metres and widened by 100 metres, now links the Polish port of Szczecin to the sea and can accommodate the world’s largest ships.
