Next Ocean Motion Radar delivers up to 3-minute motion forecasts, enhancing safety on vessels worldwide. Trusted by clients in Norway, Netherlands and the United States.

New contract signed
December 20, 2024 – We are excited to announce that earlier this week, we signed a contract to deliver another of our Motion Radar systems to an existing, undisclosed client in Norway. Their satisfaction with our technology is reflected in this follow-up purchase, and we are deeply grateful for the trust they place in our collaboration.
To complement this great news, we have included a screenshot of the user interface taken earlier this month onboard one of the vessels utilising a Next Ocean Motion Radar in their operations. The image showcases an impressive cross-correlation of 96% between predicted and measured motions!
On behalf of the whole team here at Next Ocean: we wish everyone a joyful holiday season and great start of a safe 2025!

Next Ocean installed at HOS Rocinante
September 16, 2025 – At Port St. Joe in Florida, our commissioning team worked side by side with the Hornbeck Offshore Services team to equip their CSOV Rocinante with Next Ocean’s Vessel Motion Radar.
From now on, the vessel is ready for the rough days at sea and the crew can anticipate vessel motions up to three minutes in advance. That means lower risk through better timing when transferring engineers and equipment to rigs, wind farms, and offshore installations.
Welcome Hornbeck Offshore Services as a Next Ocean customer. Here’s to many safe and successful transfers for Rocinante and crew.

Fair Dinkum Windcat Rotterdam!
September 30, 2025 – Last month, we commissioned one of our Motion Radars onboard the Windcat “Rotterdam”, a brand new CSOV from the new Damen Elevation Series.
Our Motion Radar predicts motions up to 3 minutes into the future, it sees quiet spells and the rough moments in advance, day and night. With that insight, the crew can time the critical steps in their operations with confidence.
The Rotterdam will start its first project “way down under”, later this year. We wish ship and crew a prosperous future, many safe operations across the globe.
