Mini Free Fall System in Europort Debut

One of the smallest systems on the market, it will feature a 4.9m boat with a capacity of up to 19 people and a certified drop height of 16m. Power is supplied by a Danish Bukh engine but other units can be specified. The davit manufacturer Ned Deck Marine is developing a davit system designed with a view to saving both deck space and weight.

The system has undertaken successful type approval, with boat and davit classed by Bureau Veritas and with an EC certificate. Orders have already been signed for the new system, which will be on show at Europort with the free fall boat mounted in the davit.
