New VTS Unifies South Wales Ports
A landmark marine control centre which will for the first time enable all commercial shipping entering or leaving the five Severn Estuary ports in South Wales operated by Associated British Ports (ABP) was officially commissioned late last month. ABP has invested £ 600,000 developing Severn VTS the advanced new VTS centre for their ports of Newport, Cardiff, Barry, Port Talbot, and Swansea.
