Scot Gets a Grip On Maritime Safety

Designed for fitting to all types of marine gangways, the newly developed anti-slip gangway tread has a high traction stepped surface which gives exceptional foothold for peronnel when walking up or down steep angles, even in wet conditions. The product is also colour coded for high visibility.

Gulf Offshore, one of Scotgrip’s customers, have had the anti-slip product fitted to several of their offshore supply vessels. Company founder and managing director Colin Prise said, ‘We’ve had very positive feedback from the trials of our new gangway tread and have already taken orders from the UK and overseas.’
