50th Marine Measurement Forum

Celebrating a 30 year history, the 50th UK Marine Measurent Forum (MMF) is to be held on 12 June at the Princess Royal Gallery of the National Museum of the Royal Navy in Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.

Its theme will combine anecdotal reviews of progress in measuring the marine environment over the last 30 years followed by ‘crystal-ball gazing’ towards the next 30 years.

As usual, proceedings will be of particular interest to, among others, scientists, surveyors, engineers and others representing academic institutions and research centres, offshore wind developers, marine renewable companies, manufacturers, survey organisations, port and monitoring authorities, and offshore oil and gas concerns.

The agenda, which will feature a specially themed presentation by a Royal Naval Museum expert, will also include specialist talks by representatives of the National Oceanography Centre, BMT Group, Sonardyne International, Valeport, Intelligent Exhibitions and Partrac. There will also be opportunities to tour and explore the local Dockyard,
