ENC production software released
Hamburg-based maritime software company SevenCs has announced official release of its new series of ENC production software first previewed at Oceanology International in London last March.
The software is available in customised format, comprising seven individual modules. The German company claims that this will enable clients to use particular individual software modules for data validation and optimisation within an existing chart production environment or alternatively, use the entire suite as a complete production assembly.
Bjoern Roehlich, Sales Director of SevenCs, says the company’s aim is to increase ENC coverage in a safe and efficient way in all areas of the world while providing assistance to emerging nations which do not yet have an ENC production capability of their own. Among first users is the Institute for Hydro-Meteorology & Seismology (IHMS) in Montenegro. Free previews of the development can be accessed at http://www.sevencs.com/download.
