HR Wallingford to host Marine Measurement Forum
HR Wallingford, the Oxfordshire, UK-based civil engineering and environmental hydraulics organisation, a key participant in the four-year €10m EU-funded Hydralab project studying climate change consequences for rivers, estuaries and coasts across Europe, is to host the 57th Marine Measurement Forum on Thursday 3 March.
The agenda for the latest day-long non-profit event will once more feature a series of 20-minute talks by leading representatives of research and commercial organisations on topics ranging from current scientific projects, instrumentation and survey issues. There will also be an opportunity to tour HR Wallingford’s physical modelling facilities as well as its ship simulator centre used for over 350 projects worldwide.
Speakers are now sought for the occasion and those interested are asked to provide a title and short summary of around 250 words to training@hrwallingford.com. Delegate registration cost, covering also refreshments and a networking lunch, is £35 plus VAT. Further details are available at www.mmf-uk.org.
