Italian and UK contract extensions for Veripos
Naples based GeoLab Srl, one of Europe’s foremost turnkey offshore survey and construction support organisations, has extended an agreement for continued use of a full range of Veripos GNSS positioning facilities in support of its dedicated multi-role survey vessels operating worldwide on behalf of major construction and telecommunications companies.
The contract extends the working relationship between the two companies following an earlier three year agreement.
Services being provided include Veripos’s Apex and Ultra precise point positioning (PPP) facilities for continuous decimetre-level accuracies together with Verify QC software for real-time positioning and quality control information, and LD2-G2 integrated mobile units.
Meanwhile, Aberdeen based Veripos is also to continue providing Gardline GeoSurvey of Great Yarmouth with a comparable range of positioning services and solutions under a similar extended agreement. They are being used to support Gardline GeoSurvey’s fleet of eleven multi-role survey vessels presently operating throughout the world on behalf of leading offshore exploration, renewables, construction and telecommunications companies as well as government agencies and harbour authorities.
