New UK Hydrographer
new Chief Executive of the UKHO, he will beresponsible for the organisations key role within the world hydrographiccommunity while also overseeing the Governments own responsibilities for theMaritime & Coastguard Agency under the UN Convention of Safety of Life atSea.
A graduate in Geography and Geology at Keele University, Ian Moncrieff is a former Commander of British Forces South Atlantic in the Falkland Islands and latterly, the Royal Navy’s Director of Communications and Information Systems and Assistant Chief of Staff to the C-in-C Fleet.
