Offshore Survey 2015 papers call

250-word abstracts of papers for presentation at the fifth Offshore Survey conference at the National Oceanography Centre, Southampton from 15-16 April next year are now invited by organisers of the biennial event, Diversified Communications UK. The deadline for online submission is Monday 3 November.

Headline topics for which peer-reviewed contributions are invited comprise Subsea Positioning Systems & Equipment, Advances in Survey Techniques, Survey Operations & Applications, Data Processing & Visualisation, and Industry & Professional Issues. A programme of selected papers will be announced in mid-December.

Supported by The Hydrographic Society UK, the two-day conference forms an integral part of the three-day Ocean Business exhibition at the NOC from 14-16 April which will feature over 300 confirmed exhibitors from 21 countries. Fringe activities include hands-on training and demonstration workshops, enabling buyers to actually test-drive equipment prior to purchase. There will also be a continuous interactive Ocean Careers event providing advice on career opportunities within the ocean technology, marine science and offshore industries. Further information on both biennial events is at www.oceanbusiness.com.
