Pay as you sail with Admiralty vector charts
Norwegian global chart distributor Nautisk Forlag has extended its Pay As You Sail (PAYS) service with addition of the Admiralty Vector Chart Service (AVCS
The Oslo-based company says that by using PAYS with AVCS in combination with its Neptune Vessel Information System customers will be able to obtain immediate updates to ENC data anywhere in the world, at any time.
Nautisk’s Head of Global Sales Peter Pran says the PAYS service gives vessel operators complete access to global ENCs for use with onboard ECDIS systems while only paying for those that are actually used. The service is fully compliant with current Solas regulations and requires no additional onboard equipment. Comprising over 13,000 ENCs and covering over 4,000 ports, the UK Hydrographic Office’s AVCS is the world’s leading ENC service and is compatible with all makes of ECDIS.
