Valeport warranty scheme
Valeport in Totnes, one of the UK’ s leading manufacturers of hydrographic and oceanographic instrumentation, is now in its 40th year and has launched a new perpetual warranty programme covering any of its products.
Under the scheme any user instrument serviced will be returned with a 12 month warranty, identical in all but duration to the standard 36 month warranty available when it was new.
The company adds that it will return used instruments as close to ‘new’ as it can make them, complete with latest versions of firmware and software, all o-rings, seals and connectors checked and replaced as necessary, and a pressure test certificate.
