World Hydrography Day

With the third annual UN decreed World Hydrography Day due on 21 June, the intergovernmental International Hydrographic Organization in Monaco has announced this year’ s theme as ‘ Hydrography – Protecting the Marine Environment’ .

It plans to mark the event with a series of celebrations following its Extraordinary International Hydrographic Conference from 1 to 6 June.

National hydrographic offices around the world will follow suit later with programmes of their own.
