Dave Quested, offshore wind veteran and co-founder of CTV designer and builder CTruk and OESV operator CWind, joins in a sales and Business Development position.
Rob Sime, chartered engineer, vessel designer and tester, and hull form optimisation researcher with two decades of experience including at BMT and BAE, has been appointed Principal Naval Architect.
The appointments have been made as Chartwell moves to new premises in Port Hamble to improve waterside access for clients and prepares to launch an expanded offshore wind vessel range internationally.
Chartwell has more than 15 vessels currently in build at yards across Europe and the US.
