Engine Rooms Protected at Europort

The company has gained a majority share of the market for oil separators, heat exchangers and freshwater generators, having built a strong local presence in Asia’s three major shipbuilding countries, Korea, China and Japan.

Among the products on show will be the Fuel Conditioning Module and the latest Separators, which work together to provide a complete fuel treatment concept from a single supplier. Simply configured and using a common control system, these products will suit any engine room layout.

Also to be seen at Europort will be Alfa Laval automatic lube oil filters featuring continuous backflushing which prevents the adhesion of retained solids to filter surfaces. The entire surface area of the filter is cleaned every few minutes, ensuring a long service life for the reinforced disc elements while delivering continuous protection of the engine bearings and crankshaft.

The continuous flushing requires no extra pumping capacity and thus has no influence on the pump flow rate selected. The filters require very little maintenance so intervals of up to 12,000 hours can be logged between inspections and servicing.
