First Tidal Turbine Installation Underway

Seacore will begin construction this month on the foundations of Marine Current Turbines tidal turbine in the Bristol Channel. The £ 1.5m single rotor prototype will be the first ever free stream underwater turbine, generating 300kW of electricity.

MCT turbines are suited to high density placements and can be lifted for maintenance.
