Londons Mayor Lauds Thames Yard Expansion
With the arrival of its new dry dock, Thames Craft Dry Docking Services Ltd (Thames Craft) is able to take larger vessels and pontoons out of the water for regular maintenance and emergency repairs. The new dry dock, which is securely anchored on the river bed to provide safe deep water berthing, is 58.5m long and 14.5m wide and is capable of lifting approximately 1600 tonnes.
