A working-scale model of the Blackpool UK seafront has been constructed by ABP Marine Environmental Research (ABPmer) in the companys laboratory at the Port of Southampton as part of a research project commissioned by Blackpool Borough Council to help develop the most appropriate seawall defences for the north wests coastal tourism mecca.
