Nearshore Pipelines Conference Next Month
The issues of planning, design and construction surrounding nearshore pipeline projects, including estuary crossings and outfalls, are often significantly different from those concerning either cross-country or subsea pipelines, and they are of critical importance to the overall success of the project.
The two day ‘International Nearshore Pipelines Conference 2002’ has been scheduled for 9-10 October at HR Wallingford’s site at Wallingford in Oxfordshire UK. A small exhibition will also take place with companies displaying products and services relevant to the conference theme.
The conference, organised by HR Wallingford and Pipes & Pipelines International, will kick off with a keynote address by Professor Andrew Palmer of Cambridge University’s Engineering Department. The conference programme will be augmented by a technical visit to HR Wallingford’s research facility.
