The trend to deploy ROVs in nearshore applications gained further momentum recently when Dean & Dyball used an ROV provided by Subsea Vision to survey power station pipeline diffusers off the coast of West Dorset UK. It is the first time an ROV has been used to perform tasks previously undertaken by a dive team.
