SARIS II Wins Top Award
The search and rescue information system SARIS II, developed by British Maritime Technology subsidiary BMT Cordah Ltd, has won the 2003 Maritime Excellence Award for Technological Excellence in Training. The UKs Maritime and Coastguard Agency has been involved in the SARIS II project since its inception and operates the system throughout all 19 Coastguard Maritime Rescue Centres.
