Patrol boats equipped with Netwave VDR

The vessels are currently being construced at a local shipyard and Netwave’s partner Budi Axis will install the VDRs onboard.

Two of the system are expected to be installed and commissioned during the first quarter of this year, with the other four at other points during 2017.

Installation of VDRs on board such vessels will enable to aid investigation should any accident or incident takes place or when any specific tasks of the vessels require full back-up of all navigation, engine and communication information.

The Netwave VDRs are supported throughout the world’s VDR Service Network, with over 65 countries and in more than 160 ports, over 1100 engineers can offer local APT and service support.
