AtoN beacon wins virtually all the awards

New Zealand based marine safety products manufacturer Vesper Marine has been awarded an IHS Safety at Sea Award 2012 in the ‘Equipment’ category for its Virtual AIS Beacon, a system that creates, transmits and manages electronic AtoN.

The Virtual AIS Beacon is based on the standardised marine AIS and complies with the IALA recommendations
