New port entry light from Sealite

High precision sectored Port Entry Lights are used to aid mariners by indicating a clear channel line of passage, easily distinguish shipping channels, and provide a safe passage through hazardous waters.

The Sealite PEL is claimed to be the most advanced LED sector light in its class, with the most efficient power to light output available, outstanding sector boundary resolution, and a range of user adjustable options configurable during commissioning to increase performance.

Features include 120,000 candela enabling day use and a 20NM night range from only 30 watts of power. It is ready for interfacing with Sealite Type 1 or Type 3 AIS solutions and with Sealite GSM monitoring. There are 32 user adjustable intensity settings, with night dimming, and independently controlled LED drivers enable unique flash code and intensity settings, providing great flexibility in defining sectors and their boundaries. It is claimed to be half the size and weight of traditional PELs and consumes one tenth the power, making solar power systems an effective solution.
