Busy Days at Dublin Port
The largest container ship ever to be handled in an Irish port called at Marine Terminals in Dublin Port last month after the facility had received a 23m make-over. The 2,450 teu MSC Peggy , at 208m LOA and drawing 9m, was comfortably accommodated at Marine Terminals Limited s(MTL) 570m extended quay, which has an increased minimum depth of up to 10.2m at all states of the tide. The Mersey Docks Group operated terminal has another 130m of berthing space with a minimum depth of 8.5m.
