DMC signs deal with Boskalis
Delta Marine Consultants (DMC) has signed a licence agreement with Royal Boskalis Westminster for the application of Xbloc breakwater armoured units on the breakwater extension at the port of Pointe Noire in Congo-Brazzaville.
2D model testing of the breakwater has been carried out in DMC’s laboratory in Utrecht, The Netherlands. 3D model testing has been carried out at HR Wallingford in the UK
The size of the Xblocs to be used for the project is 3m3 and 4m3. The moulds have been manufactured by BAM Materieel in Lelystad in the Netherlands.
