Encouragement to gear up for marine planning
ABPmer in the UK, in association with law firm LA Marine, is hosting a half day seminar to assist harbour authorities in the region engage with the marine planning process to ensure that the policies in the South Coast Marine Plan Area are fit for purpose.
The seminar, being held in ABPmer’s dedicated seminar room in Southampton, is taking place on 16 May to coincide with the MMO’s issues and evidence gathering period.
Presentations include the value of marine planning policies to harbour authorities by Andrew Hignett of LA Marine and how information shaped the East Coast marine plan policies by Monty Smedley of ABPmer.
