Grontmij Carl Bro renovates ferry route

Working in collaboration with shipping company Erria, Grontmij Carl Bro has been awarded a contract for the renovation of a ferry route on the world’ s largest artificiallycreated lake, Lake Volta in Ghana.

A small trailing suction hopper dredger, a crane vessel and a water injection vessel will be used to remove some 550,000 cu/m of material.The project is planned to run over 39 months and will be financed by the American Millennium Challenge Corporation fund.
