Trinity’s amazing BOGOF offer at Seawork
An unprecedented offer is being made by Trinity Boats Ltd at Seawork 2012, buy any of the builder’s boats over 10m during the exhibition and get another newbuild for free.
The Plymouth UK based builder will add a Trinity 18 harbour launch free of charge to any contract completed on vessels 10m and over awarded to Trinity Boats during Seawork 2012. The 18’ craft has a beam of 7’ 6” and a draft of only 1’. It features a full planning chined hull with spray rails, which makes it a very dry boat, and is capable of 15 knots with the 30hp outboard supplied in the offer.
Visitors to Seawork will not be short of temptation, for Trinity Boats offers an extensive range of workboats. The GRP-built Fastcat is to a design by John Moxham and is built to MCA Category 2 but can also be built as a passenger vessel under Cat 3. The Fastcat hulls feature parallel vertical surfaces on their inner sides which allow water to flow undisturbed between them, eliminating unnecessary drag. Also, the vee hull between the hulls at the bow splits oncoming waves in heavy seas for a cushioned ride without slamming.
The Fastcatch fast planning monohull, also to a design by John Moxham and originated by Kingfisher Boats Ltd, is a ‘go anywhere’ vessel with legendary seakeeping. The fast deep ‘V’ hull provides dynamic lift and consistently maintains good stability.
Trinity Boats’ commercial range of displacement boats starts at 40’, continues up to 80’ and can be equipped with single or twin engine installations. The boats are manufactured in GRP and are based on the proven Kingfisher moulds and designs purchased from Kingfisher Boats earlier this year.
Trinity Boats won a couple of valuable contracts last month, a diveboat for Devonport Royal Dockyard Ltd and a Class VI passenger vessel for Needles Plaesure Cruises Ltd. The 13.7m diveboat, which is due to be delivered in July of this year, will be used to provide maintenance and inspection services in the dockyard of surface ships, submarines, and marine structures.
The 15.25m Yarmouth Rose will provide trips to view Needles Rock and Lighthouse from the operator’s pier in Alum Bay. It will also carry an MCA Cat 2 license which will allow it to be deployed as a workboat during the off season.
