Corrosion Halted at Seawork
Corrosion Technologies (Europe) travels to Seawork from Jersey with variously sized containers of CorrosionX , a product developed through aerospace research which stops corrosion, penetrates frozen parts and lubricates even better than products fortified with Teflon.
This is the second time the service has been carried out following acceptance trials of the equipment and procedures a year ago.
Featuring the latest in Fluid Thin-Film Coating (FTFC) technology, when CorrosionX is applied to existing corrosion it displaces electrolytes such as salt water and leaves an ultra-thin, high-dielectric film that instantly halts the progress of the corrosive cycle by eliminating two of the four components. US Government users include the US Navy and the US Coast Guard.
