Major Refit for Aggregate Dredgers
Over the last decade, United Marine Dredgings 1990 built City of London and City of Westminster have averaged over 1 million tons a year of marine aggregate delivered back into the UK and to the near Continent. However, with the main propulsion plant becoming increasingly unreliable, costly and difficult to maintain, it was decided that a major refit was required to ensure the vesselsperformance for their remaining lives in service.
